Rejoicing

Just got out of the hospital with a GI bleed and Influenza A! So thankful I’m alive. While I was sick, the cold weather left and spring snuck in. Feels really nice to be getting well instead of worse. 

I hope you had your flu shot. I did, but still got the flu. Flu season keeps getting extended each year so plan with your doctor on the best time to get your flu shot. I’ve read where Arkansas has had 10 flu deaths reported this year. https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/arkansas/articles/2019-01-03/flu-related-deaths-in-arkansas-rise-by-4-now-stands-at-10 You and I don’t won’t to be one of those statistics. Take care out there and rejoice that you are alive today! BTW, the hospital food is actually delicious these days...
